Strider M. Kachelein

Mr. Kachelein is an Associate at Brown & Winters where he focuses on environmental and insurance coverage matters.

Mr. Kachelein graduated magna cum laude in the top 5% of his class from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2021

While in law school, Mr. Kachelein externed for the Honorable William V. Gallo at the U.S. District Court, Southern District of California and worked for the Mississippi-Alabama Sea Grant Consortium. His academic achievements included receiving Order of the Coif, a CEB Award for Excellence in Legal Research and Writing, and CALI Excellence Awards for achieving the highest grade in five classes, including Energy Law, Ocean Law, and Climate Change Law and Policy. He also served as President of the USD Environmental Law Society and Public Interest Law Foundation.

In 2017, Mr. Kachelein graduated top of his class from Vassar College.

Mr. Kachelein is admitted to the State Bar of California and is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association.
